Important Internet / E-mail Fraud Alert

To our valued members:

Please be aware that a fraudulent "phishing scam" e-mail is circulating on the Internet, targeting Fiscal CU members in an attempt to obtain or verify your personal information. In order to make the e-mail look legitimate, the fraudulent e-mail contained a link to another website.

The e-mail appears to come from Fiscal CU, and asks for you to update your personal information. While made to look legitimate, this e-mail and the website link are not. Fiscal CU NEVER solicits you to request your personal account information through e-mails or by telephone. Requests, such as these, are fraudulent and should be reported immediately.

In the unlikely event that you receive such an e-mail "phishing" for your personal information, please do not respond. If you have already responded to this fraudulent e-mail, please contact Fiscal CU immediately at (800) 311-3328 or e-mail us at service@fiscal.org.

Of course, it is also important to monitor your account statements for suspicious activity and we encourage you to routinely do so. In addition, you may also visit www.ftc.gov/idtheft for further information.
